2020 Year Of Nurses And Midwives
2020 is FINALLY HERE and this year is extra exciting as The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially designated 2020 as the “Year of the Nurse and Midwife” in honor of the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale!
As someone who never really understood the rich history of nursing until nursing school, I have developed a strong appreciation and respect for legendary trailblazers like Florence Nightingale who helped paved the way for me and countless others to join this amazing profession. 🩺 🥼🏥
Her leadership and influence extends far beyond her individual efforts and I’m so blessed and honored to be a part of the 3.8 MILLION STRONG who have dedicated their lives to caring for others and serving those in need. 💪🏼
